Michelin Guide Steakhouse in Toronto
Prime Seafood Palace is one of very few Michelin-recognized steak destinations in Toronto, and the only one led by a reigning Top Chef Canada champion. It is listed in the MICHELIN Guide as a Selected restaurant, which is not the same as a Michelin star, and we would rather say that plainly than let a search result imply otherwise. Selected means MICHELIN Guide inspectors reviewed the restaurant and included it on the strength of the kitchen, the room, and the experience.
Behind the listing is a dry-aged beef program run on live fire, whole cuts finished over an open flame and judged by a cook reading heat in real time, under Executive Chef Coulson Armstrong, who won Top Chef Canada Season 12 and still runs the pass every service. Reserve through OpenTable to find it at 944 Queen Street West, Toronto.
